Summary of Ep. 2 “Roaring”

The next day, Anzu (played by Maaya Sakamoto) encounters Natsume Sakasaki on the way to school. Natsume looks interested in the transfer student whom everyone talks about.
Her homeroom teacher Jin Sagami (Tomoyasu Hishiba) says that Anzu is the center of attention at the school. He advises that she alone should judge whose words she should believe.

On the other hand, Hokuto Hidaka (Tomoaki Maeno), Subaru Akehoshi (Tetsuya Kakihara) and Makoto Yuki (Shotaro Morikubo) are relieved that Anzu comes to school even though she had a hard time on the first day she transferred in.
Just like the day before, Hokuto and others show Anzu around the school. As they go to a lecture hall, they see Hajime Shino (Tomoya Kosaka) singing and cleaning.

Subaru is excited to hear that Hajime will join Dre-Fes in the evening. He invites Anzu to come together, however, twin brothers of the band club, Hinata and Yuta Aoi (Soma Saito) take her away.

To help Anzu, Hokuto and other members visit the clubroom of the band club. Rei Sakuma (Toshiki Masuda) was waiting for them there: he is one of “Three Eccentrics,” three special students whom even the school council can’t control.

Rei makes an apology to Anzu for Koga Oogami’s reckless behavior and offers his support for their “revolution.” As Rei asks them to show their value and resolution, Hokuto, Subaru and Makoto sing and dance again and again.

Their performance influences Anzu to make up her mind: she decides to be an official producer of Trickstar and accepts their request to be a comrade of their revolution.

After that, based on Rei’s suggestion, they made two groups for special trainings: Hokuto forms a group with Hinata and Yuta, and Makoto pairs with Koga. Since Subaru is told that he should be with Anzu, they decide to go to see Hajime’s stage performance.
Subaru and Anzu encounter Tomoya Mashiro (Shunya Hiruma), Mitsuru Tenma (Junya Ikeda) and Nazuna Nito (Yuki Yonai), the members of Ra*bits, the group that Hajime belongs to.

Subaru winces hearing that the opponent of Ra*bits is Akatsuki, whose leader is the vice president of the school council-- Keito. He waits for Ra*bits’ performance in the audience dyed with red as Akatsuki’s symbol color.

After Dre-Fes is over, you see Subaru hang his head and Anzu follows him silently. They saw Hajime’s tear and the reality of Yumenosaki Private Academy where the school council reigns.

“I want to destroy this reality that causes such a kind boy to shed tears!”

Highlights of Ep. 2

Band Club and “Three Eccentrics” Rei Sakuma

After taking away Anzu suddenly, Hinata and Yuta make a scene by throwing her up with 2wink’s song “Kangei 2wink Zatsugidan [Welcome! Twink Acrobatic Team]”. On the other hand, Koga, a boy who trampled on Anzu in Ep. 1, is gagged and wrapped in a mat in the clubroom. What kind of band club is this!?

The leader of the band club is Rei Sakima, one of “Three Eccentrics” with a prominent ability as an idol.

He is extremely eccentric: he sleeps in a coffin; the club room is completely dark; he calls himself as “wagahai” and put “ja” at the end of the sentence like an old guy.

He already knows about Trickstar members and their revolution. What a mysterious and fascinating character he is!
